Christopher is SUPERMAN
Our son Christopher was diagnosed
with Juvenile Diabetes in July 2002. At
that time he was 2 years old. Since
then, our son and entire family have gone through total life changes. Our son has remained very active and happy
through the entire process of being diagnosed with the disease, as well as,
learning to cope with the necessary treatment routine that goes with
diabetes.
We consider ourselves
personally fortunate to have been blessed with a wonderful child like
Christopher and such a supportive daughter in Nicole. We have found a true hero in life, who is
able to deal with this disease and all that goes with it, before doing anything
else each and every day. This hero is
our son Christopher.
Caring for a child with
diabetes has become part of our every day life routine and we have made a vow
to do everything in our powers to help all people affected with diabetes and
hopefully one day witness a cure for this disease.
This is how and why
Christopher’s 5-K Run & Walk For Diabetes came to
be. Please take this opportunity and
participate and be a superhero just like Christopher.
