As well as providing training and racing companionship Colonial Road Runners also has events during the year that provide opportunities for members to meet and socialize with other members.
The Annual Banquet in January celebrates the achievements of its members from the previous year and is always well attended by club members.
Colonial Road Runners provide support for The BAA by supplying volunteers to manage two water stops for The Famous Boston Marathon.
Colonial Road Runners have in the past managed to put together two or three teams to compete in The Marathon Relay held in Marshfield every year.
Every year members gather for a summer picnic.
